Our history

It all started with a simple question: "Why isn't the heat stored in the facades of our buildings being put to good use?

A brilliant idea born of a simple observation.

Christophe Fourcaud, an engineer by training with a passion for environmental issues, has always been intrigued by simple yet revolutionary solutions. Looking at the metal facades of buildings heated by the sun, he realized there was tremendous untapped potential here.

What if these facades became much more than inert walls? Christophe set himself a challenge: to transform walls into active players in the energy transition, capable of heating or cooling buildings while reducing their carbon footprint.

In February 2024, AIR BOOSTER closed a €1.5 million financing round with Team for the Planet, a citizen's collective committed to the fight against climate change. This fund-raising was complemented by non-dilutive financing of one million euros from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and Bpifrance.

Thanks to this fund-raising and its strong positioning in low-tech innovation, AIR BOOSTER has become a key player in the energy transition in France, with prospects for international expansion.
